In late June, BenQ’s core scanner distributors gathered in the picturesque mountain town of Yangshuo, meeting with BenQ to discuss future development strategies. At the meeting, BenQ demoed its new products for 2012 (six new models among the four main scanner series). BenQ presented reports to describe the major industry development trends currently in play, and invited long-time sales agents to share their experiences. A combination of appealing products and promising strategy provided a powerful boost to the distributors in attendance, and the result was that orders totaling 607 scanners were placed right at the venue, with high-end models accounting for 63% of those.
